I am tired

This week was a bittersweet week, it's Friday already, but it was tough to get here. With crappy weather, a terrible school schedule, and tests and quizzes, I must say I am too tired to do ANYTHING. Not only have I been caught up with inside-school stuff, I've got projects.

Who assigns projects in high school?

LAAMEE.

I know now how people can say that they are too tired to do anything, I know how y'all feel now! I feel stretched to my limits, even though it may not be comparable to what other people experience. That's something I never understood, people always say, "you don't know what it's like to be tired" because that certain individual probably experiences tiredness to a higher extent. But the OTHER person may not even know what it's like to be that tired, so to them, at that certain moment, they are extremely tired. I don't know even know how to explain it myself. I am too tired.

God gives rest, but to be honest, I still feel tired. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe I actually need a break, because I can barely keep my eyes open right now!

i totally agree with yous, last week was longgg and a total bummer! but thankfully its a new week, & hopefully it will be less bummy :)& even more hopefully it'll run more smoothly + you'll get some good rest!
here are some tips i found on how to get a good nights sleep? o.O (yea, i know, i have now life lols)

1. Drink Warm Milk (hahaha!)
A glass of warm milk 15 minutes before going to bed will soothe your nervous system. Milk contains calcium, which works directly on jagged nerves to make them (and you) relax :D

2. Never oversleep
Never oversleep because of a poor night's sleep. This is the most crucial rule. Get up at about the same time every day, especially on the morning after you've lost sleep. Sleeping late for just a couple of days can reset your body clock to a different cycle -- you'll be getting sleepy later and waking up later.

3. Don't nap
Do not take any naps the day after you've lost sleep. When you feel sleepy, get up and do something. Walk, make the bed, or do your errands. While studying, get up regularly (every 30 minutes, or more often if necessary) to walk around your room. Do a gentle stretch. That will increase the flow of oxygen to your brain and help you to be more alert.

4. Develop a bedtime routine
Stop studying and don't get into any stimulating discussions or activities a half hour or hour before bed. Do something that's relaxing -- read "light" material, play your guitar, listen to music that is quiet, catch a mindless TV show. Some people sleep better in a clean and neat environment, so they like to straighten and clean their room just before going to bed. Find your own sleep-promoting routine.

5. Warm bath, yes; shower, no

Take a long, hot bath before going to bed. This helps relax and soothe your muscles. Showers, on the other hand, tend to wake you up.

6. List "gotta do's"
Keep a pad and pencil handy. If you think of something you want to remember, jot it down. Then let the thought go. There will be no need to lie awake worrying about remembering it.

7. Try to avoid thinking of negative things at night. We all have problems and things that worry us but at bedtime you need to say to yourself " Whatever is bothering me, I will not think about it right now.". Think of positive things only at bedtime.

8. Stretch and relaxation
Some people find that a gentle stretching routine for several minutes just before getting into bed helps induce sleep.

9. Listen to Music or Other Audio
Play some soft, soothing music that will lull you to sleep.

10. Keep Regular Bedtime Hours
Your body likes regular routines, whether you do or not. It likes to know that it's going to get up at the same time each day, eat at the same times, and go to bed at the same time. Not very exciting, maybe, but comfortable. So pick a reasonable and regular time to go to bed each night. And stick to it. Even if you don't think you're tired when the time comes. Your body will appreciate it. And after a while when it feels it can rely on the routine, it will begin to repay the favor by letting you get to sleep when you want.

hope this sorta helps~ gluck this week little one! :P
